Is this for beginners or experts?
The program is designed for athletes of all levels, from beginners to elites.
Workouts are based on FTP, so the effort is right-sized for your specific fitness.
The skill-based gamification makes it fun for everyone to participate because it's not about power, but rather your ability to control power and cadence - the key skills of cycling effectively and efficiently.
What equipment do I need?
To access the platform, you'll want:
- A laptop, iPad/tablet, or phone (small screen isn't optimal)
- Decent WiFi (> 20 Mbps)
- Access to Chrome, desktop, or iOS app
The optimal experience would include a Bluetooth smart trainer or a power meter to take advantage of the fully integrated data and metrics.
The platform is also compatible with all Bluetooth heart rate straps.
If you don't have a smart trainer or power meter, the system will default to perceived exertion so you can train along with a spin bike or Peloton.
What does a training week look like?
There will be three live coach-led rides a week: two structured interval workouts, focused on developing fitness and skills, and one course-based workout on the weekend.
Coaches lead the workouts and provide real-time feedback and guidance during intervals and courses. The coach video attaches to the workout and provides a coached experience anytime on-demand.
How much does it cost?

Can I join or leave anytime?
Yes, the program is designed to progress athletes through the full 12-week program, but it is tailored so athletes can jump in at any time.
Participants can adjust the intensity in any workout, so it's easy to right-size the effort to meet them where they're at in their fitness.
What kind of results should I expect from this program?
The program is designed to build fitness, power, speed, and cycling-specific skills.
The goal is for you to show up to Colorado's Ride feeling fit, confident, and ready to enjoy the experience.
What course-specific training is there?
You'll ride the actual GPX files of each day of Colorado's Ride, so it's just like you're getting to be there and ride the course.
The real grades and terrain are simulated, so you'll have a very good understanding of each day's ride.
You can ride full days or specific segments you want to focus on, so you'll be ready to ride!
